ACT27 structural tests all completed!!!

We are very delighted to say that all structural tests (static, fatigue) of our first prototype, the ACT27, have been successfully completed today. The ACT27 is a 13m long ACT blade built for the 225Kw turbine V27. All tests have been carried out at the accredited Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult testing facilities in Blyth, The picture of the very last loading (100% torsion – post fatigue) taken from our remote witnessing. Thanks again to all have supported us: Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, AMRC, NMIS and InnovateUK and BEIS.
